At Sunrise Midwifery, your quality of care is important to us. Our qualified professionals are here to help you make informed decisions about every step of your pregnancy, delivery, and beyond.

If you choose Sunrise Midwifery as your maternity care provider, all of your appointments are with the midwife and generally last about 60 minutes. We’ll answer your questions, check your vitals, palpate your growing uterus, and can draw labs right on-site. We can also schedule an ultrasound for you right there in the office.

Appointment Schedule

We’ll meet with you every four weeks until 28 weeks, then every two weeks until 36 weeks, then weekly until delivery. Most people start care between 8 and 16 weeks, though we accept late transfers into care and transfers from other providers. We’ll schedule urgent or non-routine visits as needed.

At 36-37 weeks, we’ll meet with you at your home so we know how to find it in the dark and tired.

We’ll also perform postpartum checkups on mom and baby at your home 24-36 hours after delivery
and for your 7-day postpartum checkup.
